The brief for this key, modern, crisp building located in the Northwood Development in Santry, Dublin, was for own door offices dual aspect with underground car parking. The office units are located either side of a stair core housing a lift and service shafts. The facades are constructed of a mixture of subtly coloured limestone cladding and floor to ceiling glazing, with sun shading to the spectacular fully glazed penthouse units. A suspended glazed secondary facade housing a glazed winter garden is a key feature of the building. The sustainable element of the design reduces heat loss, encourages planting and promotes a flexible comfortable working environment.
